On May 6, 2022, Wang Gaozhan, member of the Standing Committee of the Municipal Party Committee and Minister of the United Front Work Department, and Liu Dankai, the Deputy Minister, visited SEI-Futong Submarine Power Cables Co., Ltd.（FSS） to conduct researches, accompanied by Zhou Yongming, the president of FSS.
Wang Gaozhan learned about the developing overview, industrial layout, investment planning and project construction progress of FSS in detail, and took a look at various types of high voltage and ultra-high voltage submarine power cable products. Minister Wang fully affirmed the operation and cultural construction of FSS, and pointed out that FSS should be built into a leading industrial base for marine engineering cables in China, in Asia and in the world, and increase efforts in technological innovation and product research and actively expand market along the Belt and Road, focus on safety production management and accelerate the first phase of production, to contribute to the construction of a modern marine city.
